I SHOULD be sleeping. It WAS a good day.

I knew that I'd be holding back on spending (I would've bought out the artist alley if money wasn't so important LOL) but food and TTC prices are so ridiculous that what I spent on those two combined was almost half of the total amount of money I spent the whole weekend. -_-

A print by I just had to. She is an AMAZING artist and I'm probably not going to get another opportunity for a print of hers.

A print by I saw her at Anime North and pretty much fell in love. So I bought another print I don't remember seeing before. And she signed it ;_; <3

Hibari cellphone strap. It was cute. Bad reasoning, common reasoning. It's probably going to hang off my pencil case because it'll get destroyed hanging off my cellphone, which would result in Hibari destroying me. :'D

Iron Man pin. AWESOMEEEE

Pencil case/pouch thing. It was pretty -_____-. But the pencil case I'm using now is starting to fall apart ;_; so I bought a backup. Plus, it's pretty. /shot

Donnie Darko poster. This was the only thing I bought from the Dealers Room, because I usually buy keychains and necklaces, etc. but they were either not my thing or pricey, so I decided to buy something from something that wasn't anime for variety. This was kind of expensive though. I didn't even notice the awesome posters until I ran into some friends (and their friends whom I don't really know) and saw one of them with a Donnie Darko poster. I was stuck between that, 28 Days Later or the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Next year. Always next year. XD

Seriously, I bought a water bottle and a wrap for $9.31. That was ridiculous. And a single sandwich was $7.50. WHYYYY


Itemzzzzz that I really wanted but decided against with both good and bad reasoning:

Several Iron Man prints.
Watchmen print. I would've bought it over the Donnie Darko poster but it was sold out ;___;

There was an artist who had a lot of Star Wars posters and a Beatles poster + White Album artwork interpretation or some sort book, and I wanted one of his prints, didn't matter which one...but decided against it.

Stormtrooper figurine. This really wouldn't have been a good purchase, even if those flickr photos were genius.

Game Boy screenprinted bag. I assume it's screenprinted. It's made of win.




Never found Jordi on Sunday. :'( Found several other people, though. And met a Mukuro (I was Chrome lol), Brendan has a picture of us He also has pictures of us in Stormtrooper helmets ftw.

I'm sure most of my pictures are of the 501st Legion. XD

As well, I actually went to some panels WOW (FE doesn't have great panels in anime), but they were all in sci-fi. Two highlights were the Q&A with Billy Dee Williams aka Lando Calrissian from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi; he was just a great person and gave pretty down-to-earth and humourous answers. And noted the almost subliminal perversion in Return of the Jedi (besides Slave Leia, just think about it). He also yelled at us (it was a response to a question, he wasn't mad, but it was really surprising XDX) and randomly recited a passage of Shakespeare. ROFL...the other highlight was the Chad Vader marathon. That was strangely amusing.

Reborn photoshoot (I keep on typing photoshop -_-) on Saturday was...something new, obviously, as I've never cosplayed until FE. I had to wear my eyepatch, couldn't see a THING without my glasses ;_; and my lack of properly sized trident was a little embarassing when aforementioned Mukuro and I "attacked" Hibari. I might do Hibari for AN next year, or TASHIGI so I can wear my glasses. I doubt people will recognize me if I was Tashigi, though. XD Carrying a katana may help people think I'm not just some person in a Hawaiian shirt. XDDD Also, I can wear shoes that are more suited for walking. Seriously, walking in those boots made my feet, legs and bum sore for the whole weekend. And first time wearing a miniskirt in general public (I'm sad I know). It got comfortable after awhile XD

Also went to the masquerade on Saturday night, there were some EPIC entries (Haruhi/Grease crossover ftw; Power Rangers Rock Band; X-Men; "Dissidia Star Wars" (I like to call it that); and the Sakura + Yuuko costumes were amazing. I'm sure I'm forgetting A LOT of them.).
